Description
This is part of a 6-panel series on Shakespeare that I did for my junior year spring semester.
This one is based on Romeo and Juliet: two families feuding, two lovebirds destined for death.
Gouache on hot press illustration board and tissue paper, along with some other mixed media. About 14 hours.

It's a shame this doesn't have more favorites on it. I love the concept of this picture and the way you used tissue paper instead of plain old colored pencils or digital coloring. The composition really draws my eye to the Romeo and Juliet pinatas as well.
